World Mental Health Day

10 October 2024 was World Mental Health Day, where DurhamWorks encouraged all to come together to talk about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters.

Gentle exercise is also known to help with mental health. Our DurhamWorks Youth Forum recently enjoyed a “walk & talk” session at Auckland Castle where they discussed dream jobs, challenges and their personal experiences working with DurhamWorks.

DurhamWorks staff visited Morrison Busty Nursery and picked out some flowers to plant in their garden to practice mindfulness.
